Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe.

Our next cache is located at the oldest building in Mobridge that still resides in its original location. It was originally a wooden frame building housing an ice business. By 1912, the present building was built in brick due to several recent fires. It was occupied as a saloon, with a barbershop in the basement. Several cafes used the building before it was used as the office of the WPA and later the Northern Power Company (predecessor of MDU). It became the Moose Lodge until the 1976, before being sold to an electric company.
