News in Mobridge has happened in a variety of buildings around town. The papers often had publicly aired disagreements. Editors in the past have even been arrested on charges of slander and libel. The newspapers that have covered Mobridge happenings go back to the early 1900s and many of the last remaining copies are housed at this location.
